This premier cycling event challenges riders to complete a 1,000 kilometre course in 7 days while using their personal and professional networks to raise significant funds for children's charities.

This magnificent day embarked a running frenzy in Brisbane where the first official Brisbane Marathon was open to the public in 1992.

Australia's leading echocardiography conference is on again, returning to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event hosts an esteemed faculty of expert speakers, who deliver the latest in echocardiographic advances and explore the applications of new techniques and innovations from across the industry.


Funds from this event will directly support medical research into Australia’s most chronic illnesses, such as heart disease and lung disease, through The Common Good.

Throughout the 9-day event, showgoers devoured over 150,000 Strawberry Sundaes, with 21,783 ice creams sold on People’s Day alone.

  • 150,287 Strawberry Sundaes sold
  • 7 tonnes of strawberries
  • Around 28,000L of locally produced ice-cream
  • 375kg of cream
In 2023, the money raised from this phenomenal feat will support around 4,100 hours of research into silicosis – a progressive and incurable lung disease.

Street Art Battle

The Live Street Art Battle is an annual event held at The Avenue in Surfers Paradise.

2022 marks the 5th Art Battle to date. Each artist is given a canvas and 90 minutes to produce an amazing art piece to be auctioned off at the end the event.

The overall winner is determined a judging panel and the final piece of the artwork at auction. The winner will receive a cash prize of $1000 and a $500 voucher for The Avenue venue. The winner will also be given a wall in The Avenue to create their own unique artwork.

All funds raised from the event will go to support medical research and hospital initiatives at The Common Good.

The ride covers over 500km of south-east Queensland's most beautiful country - including Mount Tamborine and mount Glorious.

Though entry is free, each rider pledges to raise funds for 100 hours of research ($4400). It's a great day out for motorbike enthusiasts, and one that makes a huge impact for funding life-changing medical research.
