Wearing their yellow shirts with pride, they support all areas of the hospital from Admissions to Emergency, performing a range of roles from welcoming visitors to providing administration support.
We love our Charlie’s Angels and they play such a crucial role in creating a warm, welcoming and supportive environment at The Prince Charles Hospital.

Whether you are flying solo, volunteering with a friend or perhaps your workplace is looking for team volunteer opportunities, anyone can apply for a volunteer role! Volunteers should be 18 years and over, however if you are between 16-18 years old, you may be able to volunteer alongside a guardian. How do I apply to volunteer and what happens next?
Firstly, thank you for considering donating your time! The next thing to do is to complete the Volunteer Expression of Interest form for your chosen event. Once this is done, we will cross check your availability and if all things match up, we will contact you to share further information about the event.
What kind of training and support is provided to volunteers?
We’re so grateful for our amazing volunteers and we want to make sure you feel comfortable and clear on what your volunteering role is. For the General Event volunteers, a detailed volunteer handbook (including information about the volunteer roles and tasks) will be provided in advance of the event date. A volunteer briefing will also be provided by The Common Good on the day of the event. For the Ekka Strawberry Sundae stall volunteers, a volunteer portal invitation will be sent out to you by email to register and to complete required training modules for your allocated volunteer roles – Stall Volunteer, Cashier, Gate Keeper, etc.
I can’t find the answer to my question in the FAQs above.
