40 Schools. 40 Clubs.
One Community.

By joining The Common Good's 40 Schools and 40 Clubs for 40 years Program, your community can help fund life-changing research, specialised equipment and enhanced patient care programs at The Prince Charles Hospital and Caboolture Hospital.

What's it all about?

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, through its community and fundraising initiative The Common Good, is dedicated to supporting life-changing research, providing specialised equipment, and enhancing patient care programs at The Prince Charles Hospital and Caboolture Hospital.

As part of our 40-year milestone in 2026, we're inviting 40 schools and 40 clubs to join a special fundraising initiative to support your local hospitals.

Whether you’re a school, day care centre, sporting club, service organisation, or social group, your community can unite to raise funds that directly support patient care and medical research in your community.

Why should your community join us?

Local impact: Funds raised stay in your community, helping families just like yours

You can find a list of your donations on your fundraising page. You’ll also receive an email every time someone makes a donation.

You can also see all of your donations under the “My Donations” section in menu.

Are there any fundraising rules I need to know about?

add remove

There are rules for fundraisers to protect you, your donors, and The Common Good. Please view our Fundraising Terms and Conditions and let us know if you are unsure about anything.

It is important that you keep any expenses low and ensure they do not exceed 50% of your total fundraising.

What does the money go towards?

All funds donated are used to support life-changing medical research into the areas of heart disease, lung disease, mental health and dementia via The Common Good’s research teams.

The Common Good also provides direct support and funding for equipment as well as patient care initiatives at both The Prince Charles Hospital and Caboolture Hospital.

If there is a specific area of research or a specific hospital you would like your fundraising dollars to be directed to, please contact info@thecommongood.org.au

Can The Common Good or one of your researchers attend my event or provide a guest speaker?

add remove

Our team is hugely appreciative of any fundraising efforts and can occasionally make themselves available. If you feel your event would benefit from a guest speaker, then please email info@thecommongood.org.au

How do I deposit the funds I have raised?

add remove
