We are raising funds for The Common Good, an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, in loving memory of Tracey Slatter. Tracey was a dedicated and hardworking volunteer who gave countless hours to both Yaralla Cricket Club and Gladstone Cricket.
Tracey was diagnosed with a terminal illness and needed a life-saving double lung transplant. Thanks to the incredible work of The Common Good and the generosity of an organ donor, the transplant was a success. This gave our family 10 more magical years with Tracey – years filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
Now, we want to give back. We want to support The Common Good so they can continue to power the research that makes these miracles possible. Their researchers work tirelessly to find new medical breakthroughs that improve the quality of life for those facing chronic illnesses, and in some cases, give them the precious gift of more time with loved ones, just like we had with Tracey.
