Cycle of Giving 2026
Mal & I started the cycle in 2006 following Mal (Magnificent Mal 239) having a life saving heart transplant. Our aims were to thank our Donor Family & Transplant Team & to raise awareness of the need for organ & tissue donation. It was a privilege & honour to ride along side our Donor’s son Jeremy (see above photo - 2018). 20 years on I continue to honour the same aims & now I am also raising funds for The Common Good, an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, to help power life-changing medical research. All funds raised are directed to The Cycle of Giving Transplant Research Grant which is awarded each year.
Chronic illness will impact 90% of people during their lifetime, and The Common Good’s researchers are working tirelessly to find new medical breakthroughs that improve quality of life and, in some cases, offer those people more days and nights with the ones they love.
