Glenmore Bulls AFC paying it forward!
The Glenmore Bulls are a proud, family-oriented Australian Rules Football club based in Rockhampton, Queensland. Jack is a 27-year-old long-term player with the Glenmore Bulls—fit, strong, and the kind of teammate every club is proud to have. During pre-season training in 2025, everything changed. Jack was suddenly diagnosed with a serious congenital heart condition and required urgent open-heart surgery. What followed was a frightening and overwhelming time for Jack and his family. In true Glenmore Bulls spirit, teammates, friends, and our wider community rallied around them with unwavering support.
Today, thanks to the incredible care he received, Jack has made a remarkable recovery. He and his family speak with deep gratitude about the expertise, compassion, and life-saving treatment provided by the team at The Prince Charles Hospital—care they credit with saving his life.
Now, we want to pay it forward.
Together with The Common Good, the Glenmore Bulls and Jack’s family are raising funds to help ensure other families facing similar, life-threatening diagnoses can access the same world-class care and cutting-edge medical breakthroughs. Because for many, this research and treatment doesn’t just save lives—it gives people more time. More moments. More days and nights with the people they love most.
Will you help us make a difference?
Every donation, big or small, brings hope to families when they need it most.
